Porkandbean cakes




Pork and bean cakes.
we listen 2 WBLS 107.5 and grieg piano concerti::: let us pretend we don't have a trusty ancient cuisinart: we have a fork, a bowl, and an idea:::
in addition: we have no parsley today, so we substitute with frozen spinach.
today: homemade pork (yes) sausage patties::: full of goodstuff::: red kidney b
eans, yogurt, necessary spices, and 'secret esoteric ingredients'. well, notso esoteric.
we found a hardboiled egg in the backroom of the fridge (stuff always finds it way 2 the 'backroom') that had accidentically frozen::: how cool is that. we add it 2 the melange. why waste a new fresh egg for experimental procedures.
we add, ahem: onion soup mix; if the salty nature of this guy strikes fear: simply add dried onion or cornstarch.
it sounds haphazard and irresponsible so far, does it not.
the pork is ground from
freshdirect; we use a 'palm-sized' amount; this is a tiny measure::: but it will allworkout.
mama didn't raise no idiots:: she raised a motley crew of women who learned how 2 s-t-r-e-t-c-h a dollar from mama's mama. thanks gran. both mama and gran lived backwhen addiction 2 internet and access 2 it didn't appear on the budget.
