to save the world. 4 minutes is interminable; when a trusty wok is at stake. do not. DO NOT. never. make mashed potatoes in your wok. we (one of us) tried this project today. woks heat quickly 2 a high temp; they are efficient and do everything we require::: stirfry; deepfry; steam; even bake::: adinfinitum.we rarely 'clean' the wok; we wipe it gently after use::: like they tellya2. woks like2be accessible and used, but never abused.today we had to clean the residue of mashed potato mess; and season this perfect pan again.now we know betta.
