patience, a really hard virtue to find in our little selves.
could you bring us some of that?
g Caramelized Beets and Onions
1 medium beet
1 small/medium onion
handful fresh cranberries
splash hot sesame oil, or butter (if desired)
1 littlered crockpot
start with your beet: it takes a long time to cook. set crockpot on high. add onion in chunks or slices after 1-2 hours. continue on high for 3-4 hours. add cranberries during last hour.
